Shipping and Receiving Clerk, MINGO AEROSPACE POSITION
Summary:
This position works closely with Operations, Quality and Logistics to support Mingo Aerospace product lines.
Shipping and receiving clerks unload and receive inbound customer and vendor shipments and ship outbound parcels in accordance with Mingo Aerospace procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties Ensure inbound and outbound shipments have the appropriate documentation per FAA, Mingo Aerospace standards, and customer requirements.
Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
Interfaces with Mingo team members at many levels, from technicians up to ownership.
Customer contact as required.
Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
High school diploma required with 1-2 years of experience preferred.
Experience with domestic and overseas shipments.
Experience with small package, crate, and LTL shipments.
Highly detail-oriented with ability to prioritize tasks independently, accurately complete work under tight deadlines, and provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external customers.
Strong oral and written communication while displaying empathy and positive regard for others in all written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
Excellent computer skills, data entry, spreadsheets, etc.
Basic understanding of the LEAN concepts and the ability to use supply chain management principles to support continuous improvement.
Logistics experience preferred.
