Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred, in a related field.
Completion of NIAAA Leadership Training Courses is preferred but not required.

Must be able to communicate with constituents effectively in addition to maintaining excellent writing, layout, and editing skills.
Ability to think and act strategically.
Knowledge of G Suite programs and Microsoft products.
Intimate knowledge and experience working with schools.

Delegated between the Athletics Administrator & MS/HS Athletics Director and Elementary Athletics Director Game Coverage:
Delegated between the Athletics Administrator & MS/HS Athletics Director and Elementary Athletics Director Essential Functions :
Providing guidance and direction for the RCS sports program.
Preparing budgets and allocating spending on coaches' stipends, team travel, equipment purchases, and facility upkeep.
Pays Invoices & Officials.
Enters gate and concession numbers weekly in the designated budget tab.
Covers home events for MS/HS athletics (delegated rotation).
National Anthem and prayer for home varsity (football, basketball, baseball, & soccer).
Schedules fall picture day with fall sports coaches.
Booster Club oversight.
Email communication on RCS Athletics.
Enter the coach's stipend payout info for accounting.
Event letter emails (Regional basketball host, etc.
).
Emergency Action Plans (with Head of Operations).
OSSAA voting delegate.
OSSAA eligibility (hardship waivers).
Attends OSSAA annual compliance meetings.
Coordinating with coaches about the scheduling of games and practices.
Collaborating with conferences and leagues about scheduling issues.
Attends Pinnacle Conference Meetings.
Attends OIAAA Meetings.
Schedule spring physical night for RCS athletes.
Hold weekly athletic department meetings.
Works with coaches to plan trips.
Confirms officials for home contests.
Attends weekly executive & MS/HS admin meetings.
Mediating any disputes between athletes and coaches, parents and coaches, or between coaches.
Fundraising through annual signage/banners solicitation (with the Administrative Assistant & Development Director).
Works hand in hand with elementary and middle/high school administrators.
Works with coaches to schedule summer camps.
Sanction all MS/HS summer camps for OSSAA.
Please note this position will not have any coaching duties.
